tiny, wonderful global edition, pt 1, Scotland

I’m writing you all from the near-beginning of a two-month European excursion. Not so tiny in size, though relatively small in budget (thanks to couchsurfing.org and wwoof). I’m in Edinburgh Scotland, just having finished a 6-day trip out to the Outer Hebrides with the fantastic Wild in Scotland tour company, a little outfit that provides tours for those of us who can’t stand big, slick tours. Nine of us, plus our guide Danny, trekked across the remote islands in a beat-up van, cooking dinners, hiking in the rain, and drinking scotch.

The last day of the trip, we went to the Dalwhinnie Distillery where I found these tiny, wonderful bottles. Tasty and adorable.

The same day, we also made the go-because-you-just-have-to stop at Loch Ness. I totally saw Nessie. And she was so small. Go figure.
